Doxa believes that every child deserves hope and dignity.
Because of poor economic conditions at home and a lack of a necessary support system, thousands of high school students in Addis Ababa struggle to eat once a day. The vision of Doxa Development was born from the heart of a compassionate mother who desires to see orphaned, starving, and helpless boys and girls becoming men and women of dignity and honor who are making significant contributions to the well-being of society.
Doxa Development is a humanitarian development initiative designed to provide some of the most important and basic socioeconomic support such as food, counseling, education, and other holistic life management skills to carefully selected high school students and youth from the poorest locations and communities in the city of Addis Ababa and beyond.
Working in partnership with relevant governmental and non-governmental organizations, business communities, donors, volunteers, and educational and religious institutions, Doxa Development will inspire, connect, and engage compassionate and resourceful individuals, groups, and companies for strategic involvement in changing the lives of young men and women and their respective communities.
The goal of Doxa Development is to provide crucial socio-economic support, including food, counseling, education, and life management skills, to selected high school students and youth in Addis Ababa and beyond.
By partnering with various organizations and individuals, We aim to transform the lives of vulnerable boys and girls, empowering them to become honorable, dignified men and women who contribute significantly to their communities.
